Chania to Asigonia

10 June 2018 (later)

After a delightful Sunday lunch (when Karen tried Cretan tea that was served in a mini French press), we went for a walk around Chania's harbor to have a look at the beautiful, clear,  blue water and to snap a few shots for the memory book.

Asigonia
A wild but beautiful 90 minute drive took us to our rental home in Asigonia. Georgia and her husband (the owners) greeted us with more enthusiasm than a Capitals fan. Their home is stunning, the views are incredible, and there's plenty of space for us all to stretch out. Before our tour of the house, Georgia presented us with local cheeses and breads and a very sweet orange drink.

There is a little chapel on the property, a swimming pool, and the wonderful sounds of nature. There is also a solid rolling door to the driveway so that the goats don't sneak in and eat the flowers.
